i was afraid to attempt the homemade gingerbread house, but it was easy if you have a standing mixer and a ruler. i did not have a ruler but winged the template by using the force. i think as much candy was consumed as was applied to the houses - don't let their calm demeanor fool you. this guy is very meticulous about what goes where and about colors and patterns. all i heard from this guy was crunching and chewing. voila! the completed houses and their owners. i will make one for me and B next year - we want an eichler - stay tuned!

here we are at sea world - i gave up and just wore my bikini and swim cover up at this point b/c i can't take the heat... clydesdales b/c budweiser sponsers seaworld - i know random... did i already post this? 3d movie and micah looking cute in the glasses... oh jeez these are all out of order- this is the water play area at lego land day two! sand castles out of legos... this was my favorite part - the last day we had a late flight out and we stayed at thotel pool until time to leave. the kids had a blast! and i loved relaxing.

the budweiser company owns sea world so you get to pet the gigantic clydesdales. fish - lots of fish... anya was brave enough - micah was not. looks like he punched a kid!

truth be told i am already getting bored of this but we have 3 more days to document. wonder mom i am not... here we are - naive in the fact of what we are about to do... my favorite part of the park where you jump up and down on the dots on the ground and it controls the music fountain. very cool! here is m and the force is with him - the dark one is made with all legos - it's crazy here... home sweet home - but this structure may not hold up to that big earthquake we are waiting for. here is his bad influesnce # 74 that i have banned from his life. reunited and it feels so goood... here is bad influence # 19 - he's not so bad you say, but he is when your little cutie tries to swing on curtains like indy, say at his grandparents house, your house and in preschool class thinking he is trying to get away with treasure. here we are about to watch a bob the builder movie in 3d - i think he actually looks good in these glasses. this is actually their car all made of legos in the ex...

sorry it's been awhile - mommy was traumatized by all the theme parks and then kindergarten and the not working bit. But now i am back! i forgot that i have to load the pics backwards and i am not clever enough to figure out how to re-order them. but here they are! end of the day and tuckered out after the plane ride and then the san diego zoo where my cuz works and was so generous to get us tix in! it took him 3 times to be brave enough to actually let someone paint his face but here is the blue spider that stayed on a couple of hours. he was afraid that people would laugh at him. but interestingly enough about every starger outside of the zoo asked him if he just went to the zoo when they saw his face paint. here is little anya with her butterflies. she looks thrilled doesn't she? my partner in crime deniz. my first panda! he was so cute! me and the kids... the day beginning in the rental car - they act like an old married couple already. arguing over the cup holder...

well, that is exactly what i did when i planned a mommy and son trip down to san diego . i over planned, did too much and am a bit traumatized by it. i will post pictures as soon as i feel up to it. i don't know why i thought going to 4 theme parks was a good idea. but enough if that, this blog is for the happy stuff right? i will now go to the mommy blog to do my complaining!

mommy i have something to tell you - i appreciate that you tried your best the last few days to take care of me and my brother by yourself. i know that we have both been sick and has been more snotty and cranky than usual. but we really needed to have the professional, yee yee, come back today. i hope i didn't hurt your feelings when you saw me on the couch looking out the window and calling her name this morning. i was just hoping i would see her coming up. but she didn't show up then. but what a surprise when i woke up from my nap that she was there to greet me! the house was back together and we had fun until you got home. let's not try to do that again. we appreciate the effort but she needs to be here at least every other day. it's for all our sakes. thanks for listening, the chunk (19 mths)

helping baba load up his new markers in the car. he carried through the store, down the stairs and through the parking lot. swimming, swimming! superman is moving so fast he is blurry - looks like he has gained some weight too... breakfast of champions! he likes to come at food at alternative angles as this illustrates. sorry for those of you who read facebook and the other blog - lots of repetition this week!

http://dresditties.blogspot.com/ this is what our chunk did last week. he doesn't look like a baby when he is next to a 3 mth old. they are going to be buddies as soon as chase can run around and kick some booty. which will be any day now! thanks to dre for the photos and i hope u don't mind i linked u!

i dont't know why i like this one so much as it reminds me of all those late nights we used to spend clubbling. the chunk is sitting in the middle enjoying the experience. he does gymnastics twice a week now. he loves it!

this is short but sweet - at first i was like wtf is he doing? then i figured out he is conducting b/c it a little einstein's classical song and that is what they do. sorry of all of the fake food mess on the floor :).

we had an intense weekend already with lots of kids - today there was a crab feed in the backyard and we contributed yummy lamb chops. chunk likes them - rips them out of my hands to have for his own. kinda weird if you ask me. at one point friday night we had 5 kids in the shoe box. here is the proof. i had 4 kids by myself at one point. i fed them dinner and survived the evening. even tricked b to coming home from the bar - welcoming him with "surprise i'm home alone with 4 kids!". if i told him before hand he would of not come home right?

not technically wednesday but a big hump - obstacle - seems to be a thing of the past for us. chunk had his 1 1/2yr appt today. had to wake him from his nap after only a 1/2 an hour into it and throw him in the car for the ride. thought it would be a disaster as shortening a nap usually is. he generally hates the dr .s and nurses now after he had his surgery. today was a good day. i brought with us this little monkey he has taken a liking too and he got to hold it and he did not scream in terror at simply being weighed or picked and prodded at. the dr . was good as he examined the monkey first and then chunk. i guess he thought if it was ok for the monkey it was ok for him. good job chunk! except for the shots - he still cried but that's ok , he's supposed to.

m love's little toes got burned on the deck this weekend and our friends house. i thought he was whining for nothing. i was wrong - OUCH! chunk is 1 1/2 on 7/08/09! he got to eat ranch dressing with his carrots for the first time. who wants cake? yummy biscuits recipe by paula deen. All from scratch and he helped all the way. yes, that's pools of butter before baking!
